Singer songwriter, Kellie Lin Knott, studied jazz guitar and music business at Berklee College of music in Boston. Her first full length solo album, Comfortable, won multiple awards for songwriting, as she toured the East Coast folk music scene. Kellie sings and plays and all styles, but is particularly fond of jazz, pop, and country music. Influenced by equal parts Mary Chapin Carpenter and Mark Knopfler, as well as everything in between, Kellie writes and plays eclectic songs with a focus on positive messages and working through challenge. She also writes a mean love song. Her most recent release, The World Awake, is a spiritual - but not religious - song cycle detailing romantic relationship between two lovers falling apart and coming back together again. Her music is available at her shows, and online at Kellielin.com. Kellie currently lives in Kapaa Hawaii, and plays weekly with the House Lot Chilies as well as performing solo.
